A month after we moved into our house, we hired BG Builders to build a two bedroom one bathroom addition as well as multiple other improvements to the house. The added challenge Bud's team faced was to complete the work within two months as we were 7 1/2 months pregnant with our fourth child. BG Builders commitment to meeting the deadline was unwavering. Not only were our expectations met, they were exceeded as we were able to bring our new son home from the hospital to a beautiful new nursery!

Wow! Bud Garlasco delivered what was promised and then some – something very rare in the contracting business. After years of debate, we decided to expand and renovate the first floor of our New Milford home. This project wasn't just an addition, but a total gutting and expansion of the entire first floor, garage, patio, siding, heating, electrical and the list goes on and on. We now have a large, state of the art eat-in kitchen that has the most amazing cabinets and tile work. It's open to the new recreation room, all with big beautiful windows that overlook our new patio and built in swimming pool. And we have beautiful tiled floors in the kitchen and absolutely fabulous wood floors throughout the rest. Furthermore, we now have that much-needed second full bath that is truly amazing. Needless to say, there was a lot of work done and quite to our surprise, it was done with the utmost professionalism and, believe it or not, it was done 2 1/2 months ahead of schedule – also something rare.

But Garlasco worked closely not only with his own employees, but also with the subcontractors, suppliers and architects as well. They never missed a day, and were always on time, neat, clean, and respectful of our children and us. What was really fascinating though, was the respect Bud had from all those who worked for and with him. Moreover, if an issue were to arise (which there were few), Bud would take the time to clearly and concisely explain it to us and give us various solutions to rectify any situation.

We give Bud 5 out of 5 stars!!! We've heard so many nightmares about other contractors, but Bud was just the opposite. We recommend him without reservation to any homeowner.

After our first contractor reneged on our bathroom renovation, we were in dire straits. The upstairs shower was leaking into the ceiling downstairs causing an entire family to use one shower.

In stepped Mr. Garlasco, who immediately sized up the situation and took charge. He gave me the names, numbers and even directions to his team of experts to help me choose plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, lighting, shower doors and granite. He also sent me to see finished bathrooms and tile selections that he thought I would like and talk to prior customers. When the job started, on time, his foreman Bob was prompt, pleasant and professional at all times, as were the rest of his workers. They started early every day and even worked a Saturday morning to get finished with the flooring!

As the bathroom was progressing without a hitch, and we were so pleased with the progress, we hired Bud to do our siding and replacement windows. This job started simultaneously with the completion of the bathroom, including a re-design of our front portico to meet our specifications. In the span of one month and three weeks both jobs were done. We couldn't be more satisfied with the results (both aesthetically and functionally) and the quality of the products and workmanship.

We have been renovating our older home for 11 years and have had a variety of experiences, many of which were disappointing, and have had a fair share of delays and anxiety. Bud Garlasco Builders, however, was unique. They started when they said they were going to start, stayed within our agreed budget, accommodated even the pickiest of demands and finished ahead of schedule. Mr. Garlasco was often on site himself and was quick to get us answers to our questions. Bud stood out by addressing issues promptly.

It's difficult to find a work ethic and level of service equal to Mr. Garlasco.

Having a background in construction, we knew the type of contractor we were looking for to do the work in our home. After meeting with many contractors, we met Bud who we found to be very knowledgeable. We went and looked at jobs he and his crew had completed and spoke with many happy customers. We knew we had found the man we wanted to work with.

Bud's team consisted of skilled craftsmen. They were considerate and very pleasant to work with. As the job progressed, Bud and his men were willing to discuss options and make suggestions to improve the pan. There was always time for consultations. Bud was just a phone call away with an immediate response.

From the very beginning, we had one concern. Short of using the garden hose, what could be done to leave us with a bathing facility while the construction was going on? Our one and only shower/tub was being demolished. Bud's reply was "We'll work around the existing tub," and they did. We only needed to accept the hospitality of friends for two days.

When the time comes for additional work to be done in our home, we will be calling Garlasco Builders.

Now that the dust has settled and our lives are somewhat back to "normal", we would like to thank you for your services. Unfortunately, you often see and hear of remodeling disasters during home construction. From day one, we can honestly say we felt comfortable with our decision to go with your company.
